Casca E-Connect Private Limited (“Casca E-Connect”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through cascaeconnect.com, our customer portal and our products, why we collect it, and the choices and rights you have. It is written to meet the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

Who is responsible for your data

What we collect

• Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, company, job title and message when you contact us, request a demo, register for the customer portal, apply for a job or enrol in training.
• Account and billing information: billing name and address, GSTIN, order and invoice history, and payment references. Card, UPI and bank credentials are entered on our payment partners’ secure pages; we never receive or store them.
• Support information: the content of support requests and our replies.
• Technical information: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and cookies, as described in our Cookie Policy.

How we use it

• to answer enquiries and provide demos, quotations, products, licences, training and support;
• to create and secure your customer account, issue invoices and process payments;
• to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, including GST;
• to improve our website and products, with your consent where cookies or analytics require it;
• to send product updates or offers by email or WhatsApp only where you have agreed; you can opt out at any time.

We process personal data on the basis of your consent, to perform a contract with you, or where the law requires or permits it. We do not sell personal data.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers who process it on our behalf under contract – for example hosting, email delivery, payment gateways (such as Razorpay, PayU, Cashfree, CCAvenue, Stripe or PayPal), WhatsApp Business messaging and accounting – and with authorities where the law requires it. Some providers may store data outside India; where they do, we use providers that apply appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above: enquiries for up to three years, customer and billing records for eight years as required by Indian tax law, and cookie consent records for up to two years. We then delete or anonymise it.

How we protect it

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), encrypted storage of credentials and keys, role-based access for our staff, two-step verification, audit logs and regular backups. No system is completely secure, but we work continuously to protect your information and will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India of a personal data breach as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask to access a summary of your personal data, correct or update it, erase it where we no longer need it, withdraw consent, and nominate another person to exercise your rights. Customers can update most details themselves in the customer portal. For anything else, write to info@cascaeconnect.com; we respond within 30 days.

Children

Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18 without verifiable parental consent.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version; significant changes will be highlighted on our website.
