Drone services · Mining
Drone data for mining.
Safer, faster survey data for open-cast mines, quarries and stockyards – without people walking on stockpiles or near pit edges.
The challenges we solve
-
Stockpile measurement takes days
Manual surveys of large or unstable stockpiles are slow, risky and only as frequent as the survey team’s schedule allows.
-
Pit progress is hard to verify
Comparing excavation against the mine plan needs frequent, accurate surface data that traditional survey can’t provide economically.
-
Safety around benches and slopes
Inspecting highwalls, benches and haul roads exposes surveyors to falls, rockfall and moving equipment.
What you receive
- Volumetric reports for stockpiles and dumps, with cut-and-fill comparisons between surveys
- Orthomosaic maps and digital surface and terrain models (DSM/DTM)
- Contour maps and 3D models for pit design and progress against plan
- Haul-road and drainage condition mapping
- Highwall and slope imagery for geotechnical review
- Data in formats your mine-planning and GIS software can use
Every project includes a flight plan, a data-quality check before we leave site, and a walkthrough of the results with your team.
How a project runs
One accountable team from permissions to final report.
-
Scope and permissions
We agree outputs and accuracy, check the airspace zone and obtain the permissions the Drone Rules, 2021 require.
-
Plan
Missions are planned in GoDrona GCS with ground control, overlap and safety margins set for your site.
-
Fly
Certified pilots fly to your site’s safety rules, with live telemetry and failsafes configured.
-
Process and deliver
Data is processed, quality-checked and delivered in the formats your engineers and software use.
Typical uses
-
Monthly reconciliation of production and stock
-
Pit and dump progress against the mine plan
-
Haul-road maintenance planning
-
Lease boundary and encroachment checks
-
Environmental and reclamation monitoring
Safety and compliance
All flights follow the Drone Rules, 2021 and DGCA requirements, using registered aircraft and certified remote pilots. We work within your permit-to-work, exclusion zones and site induction, and carry appropriate third-party insurance. Data is handled under our privacy and security practices and shared only with people you authorise.
Questions
Which areas do you cover?
We are based in New Delhi and work across India. For projects abroad, we can supply software, training and planning support, and partner with local operators where needed.
